2025 Song PLUS DM-i Pre-Deducted Pickup Price, Models, Features and Updates

TapTechNews July 20th news, Zhidian Travel said that the pre-deducted pickup price (TapTechNews note: that is, the price at which dealers pick up the car from the manufacturer, and refund or make up the difference after the official price is announced) of the 2025 Song PLUS DM-i is $21,700 starting.

The 2025 Song PLUS DM-i includes 4 models of 112KM Premium Type, 112KM Honorable Type, 160KM Flagship Type and 160KM Flagship PLUS, and the pre-deducted pickup price is $21,700, $23,000, $24,300 and $25,600, which is higher than the Glory Edition on sale.

For reference, the current Song PLUS DM-i Glory Edition 71KM Luxury Type, 110KM Flagship Type, 110KM Flagship Type PLUS and 150KM Flagship Type PLUS are $18,700, $19,900, $21,100 and $22,300 respectively, while the Song Pro DM-i is $15,700 - $20,000, and the Tang DM-i guide price is $26,000 - $32,000.

The appearance of the new Song PLUS DM-i is basically the same as that of the current model, and the rear logo is reduced from BUILDYOURDREAMS to BYD. The body size remains unchanged, with the length, width and height being 4775/1890/1670 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765 mm, positioned as a compact SUV.

In terms of power, the new Song PLUS DM-i adopts the fifth-generation DM hybrid technology. The maximum power of the 1.5-liter engine is 74 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the drive motor is 160 kilowatts. Compared with the current model, the engine power is reduced by 7 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the drive motor is increased by 15 kilowatts.

The new Song PLUS DM-i matches the same 18.3 kWh and 26.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery as the current model. The pure electric cruising range under the WLTC working condition is increased to 91 km and 128 km, and the fuel consumption is reduced to 4.95 L/100 km and 4.98 L/100 km.
