Tesla Lists New Mezcal on Overseas Website

TapTechNews June 7th news, Tesla has listed a kind of Mezcal (a type of tequila) on its overseas official website. The alcohol by volume of this wine is 43%, the volume is 750 milliliters, and the price is 450 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 3262 Chinese yuan).

According to the Tesla official website, the glass bottle of this wine is hand-blown and designed by Javier Vidura, Tesla's product design director. It adopts a rich black finish, inspired by the centuries-old tradition of making black pottery by the Barro Negro people in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

The taste description of this wine on the Tesla official website is: floral, delicate and spicy, with an earthy aroma and a hint of lime, green apple and spices, followed by a smoky flavor. The aftertaste is soft tuberose, jasmine and chamomile. The taste is balanced, but rich in flavor, and finally has a faint bitter taste.

In 2020, the Tesla overseas official website officially started selling the self-owned brand tequila Tesla Tequila. The price is 250 US dollars (currently about 1812 Chinese yuan). It sold out in just a few hours, and even the empty lightning-shaped wine bottle sold for nearly 10,000 yuan on eBay.
