New Features of Mi Fitness and Health App Sleep Apnea Research and Upcoming Releases

TapTechNews July 16th news, after the Mi Fitness and Health App was updated to the latest version 3.31.0, a new entry of the sleep apnea research of the Mi Health Research App was added in the sleep page.

The newly launched Mi Health Research App's current version number is 1.0.13, and currently only the sleep apnea research project is launched.

According to the display in the App, the health research platform currently supports the following four devices.

Mi Watch S4 Sport

Mi Band 9

Mi Band 9 NFC version

Mi Band 9 Ceramic Special Edition

It is introduced that the sleep apnea research is a research on monitoring and evaluating the functions of human cardiopulmonary, sleep and sports functions by applying wearable devices initiated by the Third Hospital of Peking University. The data is scientific research process data, for reference only, and not as a medical diagnosis basis.

Based on the PPG sensor and the acceleration sensor, after turning on the intelligent measurement switch to collect heart rate, acceleration, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, time to fall asleep and wake up, etc. to assist in the risk of sleep apnea.
