Sony's New
TapTechNews on June 7th. Sony announced a new work of its Cosmic Robots (ASTROBOT) at the State of Play 2024 event on May 31st. This is not a previous performance demonstration DEMO type of game but an independent work derived from the IP. The game will be released on PS5 on September 6th, and it has already started pre-order on the PSN store. TapTechNews sorted out the price information of the Hong Kong server store (click here to visit) as follows:
Standard Edition: 468 Hong Kong dollars (TapTechNews note: about 59.5 US dollars currently).
Digital Deluxe Edition (including player skin/PSN avatar/digital soundtrack artbook): 568 Hong Kong dollars (about 72.5 US dollars currently).
Sony also said that pre-ordering the game will also get three special gifts, including the ASTRO's Dynamic Dude Passionate Lyricist Set, Gorgeous Graffiti DualSpeeder Paint, and 2 ASTRO PSN avatars.
According to the introduction, this work is claimed to fully utilize the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functions of the PS5 DualSense controller. Players can explore 6 galaxies and more than 80 levels in this game, and each planet has a unique appearance, from lush forests to beaches, volcanoes, etc., providing more than 70 new enemies, including the final BOSS in each galaxy.
