Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 Extended-Range Version to Be Launched on August 9th
TapTechNews August 6th news, according to the official news of Dongfeng Motor, this morning, the Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 extended-range version was off the production line at the Wuhan No. 2 Plant of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Manufacturing Headquarters, and will be officially launched and delivery will begin on August 9th.
TapTechNews noticed that within three months after the launch of the Dongfeng Yipai brand, it successively launched two models, the Zhiya electric sports car eπ007 pure electric version and the family intelligent large SUV eπ008, and then launched the eπ007 extended-range version 52 days later.
According to the official introduction of Dongfeng Motor, the Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 extended-range version is equipped with the Maher super extended-range technology, and the CLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 0.53 gallons per 100 miles. The cruising range in pure electric mode can reach 124 miles.
The Maher Power 1.5L engine it is equipped with can reach a thermal efficiency of 43.5%, achieving a 3.55 kWh/gallon oil-electric conversion efficiency. In the power-deficient state, its fuel consumption per 100 miles is 4.2 gallons, and the comprehensive cruising range reaches 746 miles.
In addition, this car is claimed to be equipped with an intelligent extended-range control system, using the SOC vehicle speed determination and multi-level power retention MAP strategy, the maximum power-deficient vehicle speed can reach 89.8 mph, and the power-deficient output power is claimed to be 20-40 kW higher than that of similar competitors, and there will be no phenomenon of stalling or inability to accelerate.
In terms of noise, when the eπ007 extended-range version is fully accelerated in the power-deficient state, the noise increment is claimed to be less than 3 decibels. The noise of generating electricity in the idle state is as low as 38 decibels. When the extended-range actuator starts to intervene, the noise increase is less than 1 decibel.
