Li Auto's Three Pure Electric SUV Models M7, M8 and M9, to Be Launched in 2025

TapTechNews August 6th news, the spy photos of three pure electric SUV models of Li Auto were exposed. It is known that these three models may be named M7, M8 and M9, and are expected to be launched in 2025, mainly targeting the market of over 300,000 yuan ($43,500) (1 yuan≈$0.145), to meet the needs of family users.

According to the product planning of Li Auto, by 2025, Li Auto will launch including 5 range-extended models, 1 super flagship (MEGA) and 5 pure electric models. Li Auto M8 is expected to be one of the pure electric SUVs, positioned as a six-seat midsize-large SUV, and may become Li Auto's first pure electric SUV.

TapTechNews noticed that at the previous Beijing Auto Show, Li Xiang, the founder of Li Auto, said that Li Auto M8 can basically be regarded as the wagon version of Model X, aiming to better solve the space problem of the third-row seat. He also pointed out that the new car is not in the shape of an MPV. If the part after the C-pillar is removed, the front half of the body is basically the same as that of Model Y and Model X.

Li Auto M7 and Li Auto M9 are expected to be positioned as midsize and large pure electric SUVs respectively. As can be seen from the spy photos, the three models basically continue the styling language of the current MEGA in the tail design, but there are differences in the tail contour and taillight parts.
