TapTechNews August 22nd news, the brain-computer interface company Neuralink under Elon Musk yesterday (August 21st) released a blog post, announcing the latest progress of the Prime project research, indicating that the second human patient who received the brain-computer implant is in good condition and can not only play the game Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), but also design a custom bracket for the Neuralink charger.

TapTechNews reported on August 4th that Neuralink under Elon Musk has successfully implanted the second brain-computer interface chip into a human patient.

The Neuralink company has been promoting the PRIME research, which aims to conduct clinical trials of implant technology for patients with quadriplegia due to spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and the goal of the implant is to help patients control external devices such as computer mice only through the power of thought.

According to the official blog post, the second patient who received the brain-computer implant had surgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute and was discharged the next day with a good recovery status.
