Xiaomi's Jin Fan Discloses Weibo Homepage, Updates on Pengpai OS 2.0

TapTechNews September 15th news, Jin Fan, the product director of Xiaomi and the general person in charge of MIUI experience, publicly disclosed his Weibo homepage today.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, on August 3rd, Jin Fan's personal homepage on Weibo showed no content for now. On August 5th, Wang Hua of Xiaomi said that Jin Fan was in seclusion, and the Weibo was set to be visible for half a year, and will talk to everyone again when he comes out of seclusion this year.

On August 23rd, Lu Weibing, a partner and president of Xiaomi Group, posted to start preheating for Xiaomi Pengpai OS 2.0. Lu Weibing said that a true AI phone is equipped with an operating system reconstructed based on the AI large model, and Xiaomi Pengpai OS 2.0 undertakes this mission.

For reference, Xiaomi Pengpai OS was released on October 26th, 2023, claiming to usher in the largest-scale underlying reconstruction in Xiaomi's history, and can flexibly configure the firmware size according to the hardware situation.
