Apple Launches New iPad Air and iPad Pro with Upgraded Features

The iPad Air is available in two sizes for the first time, 11 inches and 13 inches, and is equipped with the M2 chip. The iPad Pro uses an OLED panel display for the first time and is equipped with the M4 chip. The new iPad Air and iPad Pro are officially on sale today, with the iPad Air 11-inch model starting at 4799 yuan and the 13-inch model starting at 6499 yuan. The iPad Pro 11-inch model starts at 8999 yuan, and the 13-inch model starts at 11499 yuan.

The new iPad Air is available in two sizes for the first time - 11 inches and 13 inches, equipped with the M2 chip, and Apple claims the speed has increased by 50%. It is available in four colors: space gray, starlight, purple, and blue, as well as four configurations: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It features a Liquid Retina display with anti-reflective coating, True Tone display technology, high brightness, and P3 wide color gamut; the front 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera is now moved to the long side in landscape mode.

The new iPad Pro is not only the first iPad product to use an OLED screen but also the first tablet to use a dual-layer OLED series structure, supporting up to 1000 nits of full-screen brightness, with HDR peak brightness up to 1600 nits, and the 1TB/2TB version can be optionally configured with a nano glass panel. The thickness of the body has also been significantly improved, with the 11-inch and 13-inch versions being 5.3mm and 5.1mm thick, making it the thinnest Apple product to date.

The front camera of the new iPad Pro has also been moved to the horizontal edge of the iPad, the 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera supports Center Stage feature, and is equipped with a high-performance USB-C port that supports Thunderbolt 3 and USB4, providing the iPad Pro with high-speed wired connection of up to 40Gb/s.

Apple also introduced the all-new Apple Pencil Pro, priced at 999 yuan in China, with more amazing features and powerful new ways of interaction. The built-in new sensors can detect users' light pinch gestures, allowing users to quickly switch between different tools, line thicknesses, and colors without interrupting the creative process. Combined with a custom haptic engine and gyro, it delivers a more natural and precise control. Apple also specially designed a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, priced at 2399 yuan in China, with magnetic attachment, adopting a magical floating design and adding a full row of function keys, equipped with a beautiful aluminum palm rest, and a larger trackpad with haptic feedback.
