Sony Announces New 'Astro Bot' Game for PS5

TapTechNews May 31st news, at today's State of Play 2024 event, Sony announced a new work of its Astro Bot series. This is not a previous performance demonstration DEMO type of game, but an independent work derived from an IP. The game will be released on PS5 on September 6th and pre-orders will open on June 7th (TapTechNews note: it's not a free game, but the price is currently unknown).

According to the introduction, this work is claimed to fully utilize the haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functions of the PS5 DualSense controller. Players can explore 6 galaxies and more than 80 levels in this work, and each planet has a unique appearance, from lush forests to beaches, volcanoes, etc., providing more than 70 new enemies, including the final BOSS in each galaxy.
