Microsoft Edge Browser Updates Sidebar Changes, Feature Removals, and More

TapTechNews September 30th news, Microsoft Edge browser has recently released version 129, which contains some important new features and changes. One of the most notable changes is that Microsoft has defaulted to hiding the sidebar of the Edge browser, making the interface appear more refreshing.

Previously, the sidebar of the Edge browser was displayed by default and would show a series of application icons. However, many users do not frequently use these applications, so Microsoft decided to default the sidebar to be hidden and only show it when the user needs it. If the user seldom uses the sidebar, the browser will automatically hide it without sending any notifications.

In addition, Microsoft also plans to improve the PDF language detection and one-click translation function, as well as simplify the settings page navigation. In addition, the upcoming memory limit function will allow users to better control the memory usage of the browser.
