China's Manned Spaceflight Shenzhou-19 to Launch in October, Shenzhou-18 to Return

TapTechNews September 30th news, according to the October manned spaceflight calendar released by the China Manned Space Engineering Office today, China plans to launch the Shenzhou-19 manned spaceship in the second half of October and welcome the return of the Shenzhou-18 crew.

In October 2024, the Shenzhou-18 crew will have been in orbit for half a year and is about to complete the space business trip mission and start the return journey, and the Shenzhou-19 manned spaceship is planned to be launched.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Shenzhou-18 astronaut crew successfully entered the space station complex on April 26, 2024 Beijing time, and will stay in the space station for about 6 months. During their stay in orbit, the Shenzhou-18 astronaut crew carried out space science and application experiments, implemented astronaut extravehicular activities and cargo in and out of the cabin, and carried out the installation of the space station space debris protection device, the installation and recovery of extravehicular loads and extravehicular equipment.
