Google's Pixel 9 Launch Veiled Jabs at Apple and Showcasing Advanced Features

TapTechNews August 14th news, at today's early morning Pixel 9 launch event, Google not only showcased the new generation of Pixel phones and advanced AI functions, but also frequently took veiled jabs at competitor Apple. Although it's not uncommon for tech companies to compare with rivals in launch events, but Google's 'airborne shouting' this time seems exceptionally frequent. This might be because Google has gained a significant advantage in the AI field, while Apple is just starting out in this regard.

Google also emphasized the privacy advantage of Gemini in handling tasks, stating that Gemini can handle complex personal queries in Google's own secure cloud, without having to send any personal data to third-party AI providers that users may not be familiar with or trust. This is clearly an allusion to Apple's cooperation with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into Siri. When Siri can't answer a question, it will ask for the user's consent to seek help from ChatGPT.
