This firmware update introduces some new features of the iOS/iPadOS 18 system, and TapTechNews briefly summarizes as follows:

Head gesture

Users can control Siri on AirPods Pro by shaking or nodding their heads through head gestures.

For example, if a user receives a call and doesn't want to answer, they can shake their head to refuse, or nod to indicate acceptance. Siri interaction can be used to reply to incoming message, incoming call and notification.

Voice isolation

Apple has added a voice isolation function to AirPods Pro to reduce the noisy background sounds and make it easier for you to hear the sound. Game developers will be able to add spatial audio in games to provide a more immersive audio experience.

The above functions need to be used in conjunction with the iOS/iPadOS 18 system, and Apple will release the official version this autumn.
