TapTechNews August 21, local time yesterday, ViewSonic released two XG36 series gaming monitors, XG2736-2K and XG2536, among which the latter was launched alone earlier.

The former XG2736-2K is equipped with a 27-inch IPS panel with a 178° viewing angle, supports a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 2560×1440 resolution (16:9 aspect ratio), MPRT response time 0.5 ms, and has AMD FreeSync Premium certification.

ViewSonic XG2736-2K monitor claims a brightness of 300 nits, a typical static contrast ratio of 1000:1, color depth supports up to 8Bit+FRC, 99% sRGB color gamut coverage (TapTechNews note: 130% sRGB color gamut volume), and has HDR10 certification.

As a gaming monitor, XG2736-2K has a customizable RGB light bar on the back to facilitate players to create an immersive gaming atmosphere.
