Blue Lock Nagi to Be Released in Chinese Mainland

TapTechNews knows that Blue Lock: Nagi is directed by Ishikawa Shunsuke, with Kishimoto Taku as the screenwriter, Shimazaki Nobunaga voicing Nagi Seishiro, and Uchida Yuuma voicing Mikage Reo. The film tells from the perspective of Nagi Seishiro:

A sophomore in high school who uses troublesome as his catchphrase, Nagi Seishiro lives a listless life every day. Until his classmate Mikage Reo, who dreams of the World Cup championship, discovers his talent.

When Nagi starts playing soccer at Reo's invitation, he shows overwhelming soccer sense. One day, he receives an invitation to the BLUELOCK (Blue Lock) project. Waiting for them there are selected strikers recruited from all over the country, such as Kiyoshi Sei, Hachisuka Gaku, and Itoshi Rin. The challenge to the dream of being the world's first with Reo brings the talented Nagi into an unknown world.

The anime series of Blue Lock was released in 2022, telling that after losing to the top 16 in the World Cup, the Japan Football Federation decides to implement the Blue Lock plan: gathering 300 high school strikers to train here, and finally selecting a world-class striker at the cost of eliminating 299 people. The second season of this anime will premiere this year.
