CCTV pointed out that as the world's first ship, it was independently designed and completed by Dalian Shipbuilding of China Shipbuilding, with completely independent intellectual property rights, and is a representative of China's high-end offshore engineering equipment, and the construction level is at the forefront of the international shipbuilding field.

TapTechNews learned from publicly available information that the ship has a total length of about 130 meters (about 426.5 feet), a molded width of 21.2 meters (about 69.5 feet), a structural draft of 8 meters (about 26.2 feet), and is equipped with two fully pressurized C-type liquid cargo tanks made of special materials, which can withstand a low temperature of -35°C, and can transport a total of 7500 cubic meters (about 264,172 cubic feet) of liquid carbon dioxide.

The official introduction said that the Aurora Pioneer wheel will be used for carbon dioxide capture and storage in Europe, and the collected carbon dioxide will be permanently sealed 2600 meters (about 8530 feet) underground after being treated, and this ship will play a leading and exemplary role in the global model to solve land carbon dioxide emissions.
