2024 League of Legends Global Finals to Kick Off Today

TapTechNews September 25th news, the 2024 (TapTechNews note: that is, S14) global finals of League of Legends will kick off at 8:00 PM Beijing time today, and all four LPL teams will start to officially participate in the Swiss round stage starting from October 3rd.

The global finals of League of Legends this time are divided into four stages: play-in stage, Swiss round, knockout stage and championship final. Twenty participating teams will compete on the arenas in Germany, France and the UK for the highest honor of the year in the League of Legends esports event.

The play-in stage that begins first will be held in the Riot Games Esports Arena in Berlin, Germany from September 25th to 29th. In another matchup scheduled to kick off at 11:00 PM Beijing time today, the PCS first-seeded team PSGTalon (PSG) will face the only participating team in the CBLOL division, paiNGaming (PNG).

The four teams that advance from the play-in stage will join the 12 direct-entry teams including the four LPL teams to play in the Swiss round to determine the top 8 spots.

The Swiss round of S14 will still be held in the Riot Games Esports Arena in Berlin, and the game time is from October 3rd to 7th and from October 10th to 13th.
