Renjie Zhu has been in his current position since January 2023, responsible for the Cybertruck launch and production ramp-up. Now, just seven weeks after joining Tesla for five years, my journey with this great company will also come to an end.' 'It has been a great honor to work with talented and hardworking colleagues and all outstanding supplier partners, whether in Shanghai or Austin, 'he added. Prior to joining the Texas Gigafactory, Renjie Zhu served as the Manufacturing Director of Tesla's China Gigafactory from February 2021 to December 2022, responsible for the production and operation of Model 3 and Model Y.
