TapTechNews September 13th news, the tech media 9to5Google published a blog post yesterday (September 12th), reporting that after Google launched it for Advanced subscription users 1 month ago, it is gradually being made freely available to all Android users for GeminiLive.
TapTechNews reported in August that Google, at the Pixel 9 series phone launch event, released GeminiLive, which provides a mobile conversation experience that allows users to have a free-flowing conversation with Gemini.
GeminiLive can be said to be benchmarked against OpenAI ChatGPT's newly launched AdvancedVoice mode (limited Alpha test), using an enhanced voice engine to conduct more coherent, more expressively emotional, and more realistic multi-round conversations.
Google announced this Thursday that all Android version Gemini mobile app users who use English can now access GeminiLive and have a smooth conversation with the assistant at any time. The Gemini app has not been launched on the iOS platform, so these users will not be able to experience this function.
