Cougar Adds New SC140 Fan with Multiple Features

TapTechNews August 1st news, according to the French media CowcotLand report, the overseas official website of Cougar has added the SC140 fan, with two colors of black and white available, and both provide positive and reverse blade double versions.

As of the time of TapTechNews' dispatch, the Cougar Simplified Chinese official website has not yet launched this series of products.

The Cougar SC140 fan supports tool-free seamless daisy-chain buckle connection, belonging to the rare 140mm model in the building block fan. Due to the limitation of power supply, Cougar suggests that when connecting in the form of a buckle connection, there should not be more than 3 SC140 fans in a group.

This series of fans adopts the infinite mirror design in the axle cover part, and the left and right sides of the fan frame support ARGB lighting effects, and the edge areas on both the front and back sides are also outlined with light strips.

The SC140 fan is equipped with an HDB dynamic hydraulic bearing, and the 7-blade ridge structure at the end of the intake side of the fan blade helps to divide the overall airflow into smaller airflow units, thereby improving heat dissipation efficiency and reducing noise.

The Cougar SC140 fan has a three-dimensional specification of non-standard 140 × 142 × 25 (mm), and the official website currently only gives the specification parameters of the positive blade version of this series of fans. TapTechNews sorts them out as follows:

The speed range is 400~1200 RPM, the maximum air volume is 51.91 CFM, the maximum static pressure is 1.14 mmHg (millimeters of mercury), and the maximum noise is 26.8 dB(A).
