TapTechNews noted that a day earlier, Musk had threatened to ban the use of Apple devices at his companies if the tech giant Apple proceeds with its plan announced at WWDC24 to integrate OpenAI technology into its software.

Musk called the partnership between Apple and OpenAI 'an unacceptable security violation,' and said that if the plan goes forward, 'visitors entering my companies will need to deposit their Apple devices at the door and those devices will be stored in a Faraday cage,' which is a container that can shield some electromagnetic radiation.

Although Musk co-founded OpenAI with Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and others in 2015, he has been critical of the chatbot manufacturer since resigning from the board of directors in 2018.
