LiAuto’s OTA 5.2 Version to Enable High-Speed NOA with Zero Interventions Over 1000 Kilometers, Full Support for Apple Shortcuts

TapTechNews, May 11 - LiAuto announced today that the OTA 5.2 update will soon begin rolling out to the LiAuto MEGA and L series, including 19 new features and 23 optimizations for a better user experience. The entire lineup now supports vehicle control via Apple Shortcuts.

The OTA 5.2 features a smart driving solution based on the Horizon Journey 5 chip—the first mass-produced BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) architecture named ADPro3.0. This upgrade enables high-speed Navigation-On-Autopilot (NOA) with only one required intervention every 1320 kilometers (approximately 820 miles). Vehicles can now bypass stationary vehicles at speeds up to 100 km/h (approximately 62 mph), and maneuver around cones and collision barrels at speeds up to 80 km/h (approximately 50 mph).

Furthermore, the updated urban LCC (Lane Centering Control) improves maneuverability around vehicles occupying the lane ahead, cyclists, and tricycles, allowing smooth and continuous assistive driving in urban commutes. The system also precisely navigates and switches lanes at diverging or converging road intersections. In addition, the smart parking system has been significantly enhanced to increase parking efficiency, safety, and success rates in over 300 types of complex parking spots.

In addition to these improvements, the ADMax3.0 upgrade focuses on active safety in eight high-frequency and high-risk scenarios. The intelligent space for ADPro models includes a new HUD (Head-Up Display) digital rearview mirror image, and child safety seats can now be controlled through the car’s main screen.
