Audi A5, S5, RS5 Coupe and Convertible Versions to Be Discontinued

The report says that the reality is that the sales of two-door cars are very poor. Don't forget that Audi has already discontinued the TT and R8 models, and the A3 convertible has disappeared from Audi's lineup for many years. While Audi's competitor Mercedes has merged the C-Class coupe/convertible and the E-Class coupe/convertible to create the CLE coupe/convertible.

The report also reiterates that Audi has decided that fuel-powered cars will have odd numbers in their names, while all electric vehicles will be named with even numbers. For this reason, the original internal combustion engine-powered A6 will become A7, making room for the lineup of the electric A6 E-Tron.
