Google's Tensor G5 Chip to Be Produced by TSMC for 2025 Pixel 10 Series

TapTechNews noticed that although there are many rumors that Google will choose TSMC for foundry, there has always been a lack of direct evidence. However, a document obtained by AndroidAuthority confirms that Google has already cooperated with TSMC and will hand over Tensor G5 to TSMC for production responsibility.

Among them, the term 'LGA' that appears in the 'goods description' form is the abbreviation code for G5, that is, 'Laguna Beach'.

For reference, Google previously abbreviated 'Whitechapel' (the first-generation Tensor) as 'WHI', and 'ZumaPro' (Tensor G4) as 'ZPR'.

In addition, the 'tepping version' of this chip shows as 'A0', which means that Tensor G5 is still in the earliest stage of tapeout and may very well have defects.
