Microsoft Releases New Feature for Microsoft Teams on June 6, as reported by TapTechNews. Microsoft invites members of the Microsoft 365 Insider program to test a new feature of Microsoft Teams: by clicking the microphone icon on the Windows taskbar, one can mute or unmute Teams.

Microsoft stated that during Teams conference calls, users sometimes need to switch to different screens. Based on user feedback, now it's possible to directly check in the taskbar whether Teams is muted or not, and in addition, users can easily mute or unmute themselves by clicking on the microphone icon.

TapTechNews also learned from the report that Microsoft has added a new shortcut key combination. Users only need to press theWinLOGO key + Alt key + K key combination to achieve the mute or unmute operation for Teams.
