TapTechNews May 15 news, SensorTower data shows that in April 2024, a total of 39 Chinese manufacturers entered the global mobile game publisher revenue TOP100 list, with a total revenue of 2.07 billion US dollars (approximately 14.987 billion RMB, TapTechNews note), accounting for 40.2% of the revenue of the TOP100 mobile game publishers in this period.

It is reported that due to the launch of the 4.6 version of Genshin Impact Burning Flames Across the Violet Garden, on April 24th, the game's daily revenue reached its highest value so far this year, with a 68% month-on-month revenue growth in April, making it the highest revenue month so far this year. As a result, miHoYo's revenue increased by 7% month-on-month, returning to the top five of the global mobile game publisher revenue list and staying in the top three of the Chinese mobile game publisher revenue list.

In addition, FirstFun's Last War: Survival Game maintained a high growth rate in revenue in the past half year, with a 16% increase in April, approaching 120 million US dollars, ranking sixth on the global best-selling mobile game list and winning the championship on the overseas mobile game best-selling list for two consecutive months.

Lilith's new game AFK Journey saw rapid revenue growth after its launch in some overseas markets at the end of March, debuting at 10th place on the overseas mobile game revenue list in April and becoming Lilith's highest revenue-generating mobile game product, driving Lilith's revenue to grow by 22% month-on-month.

Analysts also mentioned that with the start of the collaboration with Azur Lane, the daily active users and monthly active users of Mahjong Soul set new records, with a 305% month-on-month revenue surge in April, and Youzu Network's revenue increased by 18%, rising 5 places to 14th on the list.

With the 8th anniversary event of the Wandering World mobile game and the launch of the new game One Piece: Dream Pointer in the domestic market, Thunder Fire Games' mobile revenue increased by 16% in April, moving up 3 places to 23rd on the list.

In addition, NetEase's asymmetrical competitive mobile game Identity V set new records in daily revenue and monthly revenue on the 6th anniversary of its launch, with a 52% month-on-month revenue growth in April, ranking 12th on the list.

With the release of version 5.1 and new hero Kaisa and skins, League of Legends: Wild Rift saw another peak in revenue, with a 24% increase in in-game purchase revenue in April, ranking 6th on the domestic iOS mobile game best-seller list.

Outside the list, the Chinese mobile game publishers that entered the TOP100 global revenue list in order are: Jingji Shi Jie, Shengchang Network, Perfect World, Youka Network, Zhiming Star Communication, Glacier Game, Bilibili, Duoyi Network, and Yalex Technology, a total of 39 companies.
