iOS Version of ChatGPT Adds Chinese Language Support, OpenAI Launches GPT-4o Model

Thanks to TapTechNews user Yuemengcheng for the clue! TapTechNews reported on May 15th that the iOS version of ChatGPT released version 1.2024.129 update early this morning, adding support for setting the App's primary language to Chinese, which was previously available in other languages. The official version update log states bug fixes and optimization improvements. TapTechNews tested it and found that when launching the iOS version of ChatGPT for the first time, a Chinese display page appears. The app supports application language settings, and clicking on it will redirect to the system settings for ChatGPT application settings. Clicking on primary language again will allow users to set the software's language. OpenAI launched its flagship generative AI model GPT-4o on May 14th, which will be provided to all users for free. GPT-4o can use a combination of voice, text, and visual information for reasoning and can handle tasks such as extracting text from images or describing image content. Additionally, the model has added voice processing capabilities and utilizes new technology to improve response speed for chatbot conversations.
