Loongson中科's High-Speed Laser Printer Enters Open Market with 12 Partners
TapTechNews September 27th news, Loongson中科 officially announced that the first batch of mass-produced orders of the Jiyin high-speed laser printer based on Loongson 2P0500 was offline and delivered on September 26th, marking the official move of Loongson's dedicated printing products to the open market.
It is introduced that the Jiyin high-speed laser printer is equipped with the first domestic printer dedicated independent chip Loongson 2P0500, and from design, engine planning to the whole machine verification, all are developed by Hantu Technology, with independent intellectual property rights.
It is worth noting that the double paper outlet design of the printer improves the printing speed, with an A4 printing speed of 35 pages per minute. Currently, Hantu Technology is planning to develop a full range of laser whole machines on the basis of mastering the 35 ppm and 40 ppm A4 whole machine technology.
The Loongson 2P0500 printer domestic main control chip was released at the 2023 Loongson Product Release and User Conference last November and is the first printer main control chip based on the independent instruction system in China.
According to TapTechNews' inquiry, the chip adopts a heterogeneous big-small core structure, with one Loongson LA364, two Loongson LA132 processor cores and 512 KB shared secondary cache, integrates DDR3, GMAC, OTG, USB, printing interface, scanning interface, image unit, PMIO, AD/DA, eMMC, SDIO, SPI, PWM and other functional modules, and realizes the power management control module. A single chip can meet various typical application requirements such as printing, scanning and copying.
A total of 12 printer manufacturers, including Great Wall Information C o., Ltd., CSIC Hanguang Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Hantu Technology Co., Ltd., Xidian University, Hengke Technology Industry Co., Ltd., Ningbo Huagao Information Technology Co., Ltd., Yunnan Nantian Electronic Information Industry Co., Ltd., Beijing Chenguang Rongxin Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Gaode Pinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Optoelectronic Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Cangtian Intelligent Information Technology Co., Ltd., and Dalian Zhongying Technology Co., Ltd., signed agreements with Loongson中科 to jointly build a new domestic printer ecosystem.
