ASUS's New ProArt P16 with AMD Ryzen AI9HX170 Benchmark and Specs

TapTechNews June 7th news, ASUS's new ProArt P16 model has appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database, equipped with AMD Ryzen AI9HX170 processor (Radeon 880M) and 64GB DDR5 memory.

As shown in the picture, this model achieved单核 and多核跑分 scores of 2544 and 14158 points in Silent mode, while the normal R9 8940HS跑分 is about 2380 and 11775 points; and the 16-core R9 7945HX3D is 2820 and 16460 points (TapTechNews note: with 3D cache, so the single-core score is slightly higher, and it is expected that the 16-core跑分 is stronger than the 12-core).

That is to say, the performance of this processor in the low-power mode has already surpassed the previous generation R9 8940HS, and compared with it, the single-core and multi-core performance has increased by 6.5% and 17%.

AMD Ryzen AI9HX370 belongs to the Ryzen AI 300 Strix Point series, with a 12-core 24-thread chip, using 4 Zen5 cores + 8 Zen5C cores, with a maximum operating frequency of 5.1 GHz and providing 36 MB cache (24 MB L3 + 12 MB L2), and the Radeon 890M iGPU core display has 16 computing units or 1024 cores.

Compared with the previous-generation flagship product Ryzen 9 8945HS, the number of cores/threads has increased by 50%, the number of computing units has increased by 33.3%, and the NPU performance has increased by 3.12 times.
