On May 15th, at the Huawei Summer Full-Scene New Product Launch Event, the new Huawei MateBook 14 was officially released, marking the first Huawei laptop to support a stylus.
In terms of core specifications, the new Huawei MateBook 14 is equipped with an Intel® Core™ i7 Ultra-high-performance processor, with a lightweight body supporting 40W TDP performance release; it also boasts up to 32GB of RAM; a new upgraded SuperTurbo technology; Huawei Shark Fin fan, with noise reduced by an additional 6db under high 35W power consumption. It comes with a large 70Wh battery, supporting up to 40W super-fast charging and reverse charging.
For the display, the Huawei MateBook 14 features a flagship 2.8K OLED screen, with a 14.2-inch size and 91% high screen-to-body ratio, as well as a 3:2 productivity screen. It also offers a 2.8K resolution, 120Hz high refresh rate, 450nit peak brightness, and 10.7 billion colors display. The display also has high color accuracy across three color spaces, achieving ΔE＜1 in sRGB, P3, and AdobeRGB color spaces.
In terms of eye protection, the new Huawei MateBook 14 has passed Rheinland Global Eye Protection 2.0 certification, supporting hardware-level low blue light display, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and HUAWEI M-Pencil (packaged) third generation support.
In terms of design, the new Huawei MateBook 14 comes in a new Wild Field Green color, fresh and vibrant, with a super-smooth curved edge and wedge design. It is as light as 1.31kg, thin as 14.5mm, with a new upgraded borderless integrated keyboard for a unrestricted typing experience. The bottom D-shell features a wave point art intake vent design, with more precise craftsmanship and higher strength and delicacy.
In terms of AI experience, the new Huawei MateBook 14 introduces the Huawei Pangu large model and collaborates with third-party applications like Wondershare Filmora to enable AI effects creation using NPU computing power. Users can experience AI effects, AI cutouts, and more.
The AI Space on the new Huawei MateBook 14 includes partnerships with AI model providers like Baidu Wenxin Yiyuan, iFLYTEK Xinghuo, and Zhipu Qingyan, covering various scenarios like office work, learning, creation, and software development.
