In terms of safety configuration, the new XC60 continues to be standard with the third-generation CitySafety urban intelligent safety system, in which the PilotAssist intelligent piloting assistance function supports adaptive curve-centered cruising at 0 to 80 mph. The vehicle is also equipped with an active cabin pre-purification system and a real-time air quality monitoring system.

In terms of power performance, the new XC60 continues to provide the B5 power version, equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine and a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The maximum power of the engine is 249 horsepower, and the peak torque is increased to 265 lb-ft (increased by 10 lb-ft). The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 miles under the WLTC condition is reduced to 1.78 gallons (reduced by 0.08 gallons).
