2025 Volvo S60 Launched with Engine Parameter Adjustments and More Options
TapTechNews June 17th news, the 2025 Volvo S60 has been launched with a total of four models. The price range remains at $43,800 to $54,900 (about 306,900 yuan to 384,900 yuan), which is the same as the existing models. The new S60 mainly adjusts the engine parameters of the B5 power version.
The Volvo S60 is positioned as a luxury midsize sedan and was launched in China in December 2019. The 2025 S60's annual facelift continues to offer two power versions, B4 and B5, both equipped with a 2.0T four-cylinder engine and a 48V mild hybrid system.
In terms of power adjustment, the 2.0T engine of the B5 model has a power of 250 hp (184 kW), and the peak torque increases to 265 lb-ft (360 N·m) (an increase of 10 N·m). At the same time, the 8-speed automatic transmission remains unchanged, and the combined fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under the WLTC condition is reduced to 1.6 gallons (6.33 liters) (decreased by 0.34 liters).
The engine of the B4 model maintains the original maximum power of 181 hp (145 kW) and peak torque of 221 lb-ft (300 N·m), matching a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. According to different configurations, the combined fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under the WLTC condition is divided into 1.4 gallons (5.95 liters) and 1.43 gallons (5.99 liters) versions.
In terms of configuration, the 2025 S60 continues the standard configuration of the current models, including a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 9-inch central touchscreen, and is equipped with a native Android automotive system. The system has built-in applications such as the Huawei AppGallery, Tmall Genie, Tencent AIQY, GaoDe Map, and the Huawei Smart Assistant, and supports the iFLYTEK natural language recognition system and 4G network. In addition, the vehicle can also be optionally equipped with Harman Kardon Premium Audio or Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System.
