Mi Redmi K80 Pro Features and Speculations

TapTechNews on June 3, according to blogger @ExperienceMore's post today, the Mi Redmi K80 Pro phone is equipped with a 3X telephoto and ultrasonic fingerprint, and he said it's 'like a flagship now'.

Before this, blogger @DigitalChatStation had exposed the spec information of a mysterious engineering prototype last week, which is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 processor, a 2K screen, and a built-in 5500 milliampere-hour battery (supporting 120W charging), and it is expected to be the Mi Redmi K80 Pro.

Combined with these two revelations, the general peripheral information of the Redmi K80 Pro phone is basically clear, but the main camera and screen model still need to be revealed.

It is worth noting that previously there were rumors that the iterative flagships of Mi, OPPO, OnePlus and realme were all testing ultrasonic under-screen fingerprints, which are expected to replace the optical solution.

According to TapTechNews, both ultrasonic fingerprint and optical fingerprint are mature unlocking technologies at present. The former has better usability and higher security, but not all manufacturers are willing to pay for this due to cost or other issues.
