Tom Henderson said that the relevant decision is part of the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard acquisition case, and the agreement requires the Call of Duty series of games to land on Nintendo Switch 2 and subsequent platforms in the next 10 years.

However, referring to the previous report of TapTechNews, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said that the Switch 2 will be announced before March 2025, and the Nikkei newspaper expects this game console to be launched as early as March 2025, so Switch 2 should not be able to catch up with the first release schedule of Call of Duty 21: Black Ops 6.

Based on today's news, Call of Duty 21: Black Ops 6 is expected to land on all-platform consoles. In addition to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, this game will also launch Xbox One and PS4 versions.
