Audi and SAIC Motor to Jointly Develop Intelligent Digital Platform

Four days later, SAIC Volkswagen officially announced that the production base of the new intelligent digital platform started upgrading and refurbishing in Anting.

It is introduced that the start of the joint development of the Advanced Digitized Platform intelligent digital platform is an important milestone of Audi's 'In China, for China' strategy and also an important milestone of the cooperation between SAIC Motor and Audi.

SAIC Volkswagen disclosed that the models of the cooperation project between the two parties will cover the B-class and C-class markets. At the same time, by improving the R & D efficiency, optimizing the development process, and accelerating the R & D speed, the launch time of the Advanced Digitized Platform intelligent digital platform models has been shortened by more than 30%, and the first product is expected to go on the market in 2025 to provide Chinese consumers with a new generation of Audi luxury intelligent pure electric travel products better and faster.

In 2020, the Anting New Energy Automobile Factory with an investment of 17 billion officially went into operation, opening a new chapter in the electrification and intelligentization of SAIC Volkswagen. In January 2024, SAIC Volkswagen officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the new automotive industry ecosystem with Anting Town.
