Microsoft stated that from this preview version onwards, the same Windows 10 preview version will be pushed to the Beta channel and the ReleasePreview channel in the future, but users in the Beta channel can try some new functions/features that are being developed.

Improvements gradually promoted to Beta channel users

[Search on the taskbar]

Improve the overall stability of searching for applications in the search box on the taskbar.

[Windows Backup]

Users can no longer back up ActivityHistory or printer device settings such as 'Let Windows manage my default printer' and 'Store my activity history on this device', thus enabling seamless backup or restore. According to TapTechNews citing a blog post, Microsoft believes the purpose of this is to ensure the most commonly used preferences in these settings are backed up while avoiding preferences tied to specific hardware to facilitate a seamless transition to a new PC.

Fix some BUGs to enhance the backup and restore functionality. Currently, the problem of backup failure when the desktop and lock screen backgrounds are backed up twice has been solved.

Improvements for all Beta and ReleasePreview channels

Fixed the problem that the MSIX application cannot be opened after installing from an HTTPS URI. This problem occurs when the application download is not completed, which damages the software package.

Improved Mobile Device Management (MDM). When registering a device, the MDM client will send more detailed information about the device. The MDM service will use this detailed information to identify the device model and the company that manufactures the device.

Fixed the problem that the default Japanese Input Method Editor (IME) candidate window will unexpectedly stop responding.

Fixed an issue that affects direct composition batch demos. There will be a brief flash of triangles or squares on the screen. Updated the Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) configuration file for certain mobile operators

Solved a problem that may cause the system to be unable to resume from hibernation. This happens after BitLocker is enabled.

Solved the problem affecting Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC). This problem copies an unsigned WDAC policy to the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) disk partition. This partition is reserved for signed policies.

Solved a problem that affects the application jump list on the taskbar. Performing operations in this list may fail.

Solved a problem that affects the right-click menu of the folder. When you select the command to delete an item, the command instead adds the item.
