TapTechNews, June 22nd. Microsoft today pushed the KB5039307 update for Windows 11 to the Beta channel, and the user's version number increased to Build 22635.3790 after installation.
@PhantomOfEarth found that Beta 22635.3790 includes two new special effects, which can enable the short date format and the taskbar option to display the notification icon.
Although Microsoft didn't mention any relevant content in the official release note, we can already manually enable the corresponding functions using ViVeTool as follows:
Shorten date/time: vivetool/enable/id:48525682
Notification icon option: vivetool/enable/id:49082522
1. Install the Windows 11 Build 22635.3790 preview update.
2. Download the ViVeTool tool from the GitHub page and then unzip it to any folder, but remember the path of the folder (such as C:\Program Files (x86)\ViVeTool-v0.3.2).
3. Press the Win key (or use the mouse) to open the Start menu, enter cmd, and then select Open with Administrator Privileges to open the Command Prompt.
4. Use the cd command to jump to the ViVeTool folder, such as cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ViVeTool-v0.3.2.
5. Then enter vivetool/enable/id:48525682 and id:49082522, and press Enter.
6. Restart the device.
