Chery Holding Group's Strong Sales Performance in May 2024

TapTechNews June 3rd, Chery Holding Group today released its sales bulletin: In May, the group sold 188,556 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 35.5%; among them, 92,481 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 20.4%; and the sales of new energy vehicles was 42,733, with a year-on-year increase of 279.3%. This is the first time that Chery New Energy's monthly sales exceeded 40,000 units.

Chery brand In May, the sales volume was 117,939 units, a year-on-year increase of 24%; from January to May, the sales volume was 583,073 units, a year-on-year increase of 45.2%;

Exeed brand In May, the sales volume was 9,467 units, a year-on-year increase of 24.4%; from January to May, the sales volume was 41,195 units, a year-on-year increase of 27.2%;

JETOUR brand In May, the sales volume was 36,743 units, a year-on-year increase of 85.4%; from January to May, the sales volume was 181,467 units, a year-on-year increase of 99.9%;

iCAR brand The first product has been on the market for 3 months, and the sales volume in May was 6,668 units.

According to the bulletin, from January to May, Chery Holding Group cumulatively sold 900,209 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 51%; from January to May, it cumulatively sold 135,861 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 168.9%. Up to now, Chery Group's global automobile users have exceeded 14 million in total, of which nearly 3.8 million are overseas users.

In terms of exports, Chery Holding Group continues to remain the No. 1 in Chinese auto exports. From January to May, it cumulatively exported 435,124 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 31%.
