Honor Terminal Unveils First End-Side AI Anti-Fraud Detection Technology

According to Honor CEO Zhao Ming, this technology can independently identify the picture elements in the user's video call. If AI face swapping is detected in the video, a risk reminder will be sent to the user. At the same time, Zhao Ming demonstrated a scenario: after the face of a young person is real-time face-swapped into an old person through DeepFake (TapTechNews Note: also known as 'deep forgery' or 'deep fake'), the phone will pop up a prompt to remind the user that the other party suspectedly uses an AI face-swapped fake identity.

Zhao Ming said that DeepFake technology has increased online fraud and fraud by 3000%, and it is difficult for ordinary consumers to identify. 'In fact, most AI face-swapping fraud can be identified. We can through computing power to judge whether a video or picture has been processed by AI.'

During the keynote speech, Zhao Ming also announced the AI defocus eye protection technology, which combines the end-side AI with the screen and can turn the phone screen into a 'defocusing mirror' according to the user's eye use environment and habits.
