TSMC Announces June 2024 Revenue Data and Future Developments

TapTechNews July 10th news, TSMC has just announced its revenue data for June 2024. The consolidated revenue in June was approximately NT$207.869 billion (currently about 46.503 billion Chinese yuan), a 9.5% monthly decrease and a 32.9% year-on-year increase compared to June last year.

TSMC's cumulative revenue from January to June this year was approximately NT$1,266.15 billion (TapTechNews note: currently about 283.254 billion Chinese yuan), an increase of 28.0% compared to the same period last year.

TSMC held a technical symposium in May, indicating that its 3nm process node is on the right track, and the N3P node will be put into mass production in the second half of 2024. In addition, TSMC will build seven new factories this year, and the 3nm capacity this year will quadruple that of last year.

On July 8th this year, TSMC's US stocks once rose by 4.8%, and its market capitalization exceeded 1 trillion US dollars (currently about 7.28 trillion Chinese yuan) for the first time, becoming the 7th listed company in the US stock market with a market capitalization of more than 1 trillion US dollars. The first 6 are Microsoft, Apple, NVIDIA, Google, Amazon, and Meta.
