Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 Extended-Range Version Officially Launched in the US
TapTechNews August 9th news, the Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 extended-range version was officially launched, with the official guide price starting from 131,600 yuan.
The 200Air extended-range version is 131,600 yuan.
The 200Pro extended-range version is 159,600 yuan.
The official also announced that the new car enjoys a limited-time offer of 20,000 points or 2,000 yuan for optional car colors.
The new car is positioned as a smart and elegant electric coupe, with the length, width and height being 4880/1895/1460mm (about 192.1/74.6/57.5 inches) respectively, and the wheelbase is 2915mm (about 114.8 inches). It adopts a fastback body design, hidden door handles, and frameless doors, with a wind resistance coefficient of 0.209 Cd.
In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with a 9.2-inch streaming media rearview mirror, 64-color ambient lights, and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, equipped with the 8155 vehicle-mounted chip, opening 38 service modules, with 123 interfaces and 300+ customizable scenarios.
In terms of intelligence, the new car is equipped with an integrated high-computing-power intelligent driving system, using the Sesame A1000 chip with a computing power of 58 TOPS. The whole vehicle is equipped with 6 intelligent driving cameras, 4 surround cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 2 in-car cameras, 1 high-precision positioning unit, and 1 intelligent driving domain controller, a total of 31 intelligent perception hardware.
According to the official introduction of Dongfeng Automobile, the Dongfeng Yipai eπ007 extended-range version is equipped with the Maher super extended-range technology. The CLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 0.53L/100km (about 0.14 US gallons per 62 miles), and the cruising range in pure electric mode can reach 200km (about 124.3 miles). The Maher Power 1.5L engine it is equipped with can achieve a thermal efficiency of 43.5%, realizing a fuel-electric conversion efficiency of 3.55 kWh/L. In the power-deficient state, its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 4.2L (about 1.1 US gallons per 62 miles), and the comprehensive cruising range reaches 1200km (about 745.6 miles).
In addition, the car is claimed to be equipped with an intelligent extended-range control system, using the SOC vehicle speed determination and multi-level power retention MAP strategy. The maximum power-deficient vehicle speed can reach 145 km/h (about 90 mph), and the power-deficient output power is claimed to be 20-40 kW higher than that of同级 competitors, and there will be no phenomena such as loss of speed or inability to accelerate.
In terms of noise, when the eπ007 extended-range version is fully accelerated in the power-deficient state, the noise increase is claimed to be less than 3 decibels. The noise of generating electricity in the idle state is as low as 38 decibels. When the extended-range unit starts to intervene, the noise increase is less than 1 decibel.
