Elon Musk revealed the above information when responding to a post. Blogger Bef-e/acc posted that the current models are trained on each other's data, just like the Human Centipede Effect. Elon Musk said in the reply, Unfortunately, that's exactly the case. It takes a lot of work to purge large language models from the data trained on the internet. Grok-2, which will be launched in August, will have great progress in this regard.

TapTechNews note: The Human Centipede mentioned above comes from the eponymous Dutch bloody and curious film. The film was released in 2009, telling the story of a doctor kidnapping three tourists and connecting different parts of their bodies to form a human centipede.

xAI successively launched the Grok-1.5 large language model and the first multimodal model Grok-1.5Vision in March and April this year. xAI has said that Grok-1.5V can be comparable to existing cutting-edge multimodal models in multiple fields such as multidisciplinary reasoning, document understanding, scientific charts, table handling, screenshots and photos.

In May this year, Elon Musk said that xAI is a new company, so Grok still has a lot of work to do to have an artificial intelligence that can compete with Google Deepmind and OpenAI, and maybe it can do that by the end of this year.
