RTX 50 Series GPU Specifications Leaked

TapTechNews June 12th news, sources kopite7kimi yesterday exposed the approximate specifications of all models of the RTX50 series gaming GPU.

TapTechNews sorted it out slightly as follows:

GB202: A total of 12 * 8 = 96 TPCs, supporting 512-bit GDDR7 video memory.

GB203: A total of 7 * 6 = 42 TPCs, supporting 256-bit GDDR7 video memory.

GB205: A total of 5 * 5 = 25 TPCs, supporting 192-bit GDDR7 video memory.

GB206: A total of 3 * 6 = 18 TPCs, supporting 128-bit GDDR7 video memory.

GB207: A total of 2 * 5 = 10 TPCs, supporting 128-bit GDDR6 video memory.

This also means that the scale of the sub-flagship core GB203 is less than half of the flagship model GB202.

If Nvidia continues roughly the TPC and SM architectures of the AdaLovelace generation on the GB20X series GPUs (that is, each TPC contains two SMs, and each SM contains 128 CUDA cores), then:

GB202 corresponds to 192 SMs, 24576 CUDA cores, and the scale is increased by 1/3 compared to AD102's 128 SMs;

GB203 corresponds to 84 SMs, 10752 CUDA cores, and the scale is increased by 1/20 (5%) compared to AD103's 80 SMs;

GB205 corresponds to 50 SMs, 6400 CUDA cores, and the scale is reduced by 1/6 compared to AD104's 60 SMs;

GB206 corresponds to 36 SMs, 4068 CUDA cores, which is comparable to the scale of AD106;

GB207 corresponds to 20 SMs, 2560 CUDA cores, and the scale is reduced by 1/6 compared to AD107's 24 SMs.

Another source, MEGAsizeGPU (@Zed__Wang), noted that according to the leaked Clevo files by hackers recently, Nvidia's RTX50 series mobile graphics cards all use GDDR7 video memory, including the lowest-end model GN22-X2 that is expected to use the GB207 core.

Kopite7kimi also said that GB207 is 'Probably' not only capable of supporting GDDR6 video memory.

So @Zed__Wang believes that the desktop graphics card based on the GB207 core will only use GDDR6, but the corresponding mobile graphics card will still be updated to GDDR7 video memory.
