Lianbao Technology's AD1, the First to Produce NVIDIA Thor Chip for L4 Autonomous Driving

TapTechNews August 12th news, according to the official public account of Hefei Jingkai Release, the vehicle-grade domain controller AD1 for the L4-level autonomous driving market has been successfully offlined for the first time in the Lianbao factory located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone. This means that Lianbao Technology has become one of the first factories to realize the production and landing of NVIDIA DRIVE Thor chip products.

TapTechNews learned that NVIDIA Thor is the next-generation on-board autonomous driving domain control chip newly developed by NVIDIA. The whole board has about 16,600 points, nearly 10,000 components, and 8 DDRs. It is claimed that all the functions of smart cars can be concentrated on one chip to achieve safe and reliable autonomous driving.
