In July, the production and sales of automobiles were 2.286 million and 2.262 million respectively, decreasing by 4.8% and 5.2% year-on-year respectively.
From January to July, the production and sales of automobiles were 16.179 million and 16.31 million respectively, increasing by 3.4% and 4.4% year-on-year respectively.
In July, the production and sales of passenger cars were 2.03 million and 1.994 million respectively, decreasing by 4% and 5.1% year-on-year respectively.
From January to July, the production and sales of passenger cars were 13.917 million and 13.974 million respectively, increasing by 3.9% and 4.5% year-on-year respectively.
In July, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 256,000 and 268,000 respectively, decreasing by 10.5% and 6.6% year-on-year respectively.
From January to July, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 2.262 million and 2.336 million respectively, increasing by 0.4% and 3.5% year-on-year respectively.
In July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 984,000 and 991,000 respectively, increasing by 22.3% and 27% year-on-year respectively; the new car sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 43.8% of the total new car sales.
From January to July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 5.914 million and 5.934 million respectively, increasing by 28.8% and 31.1% year-on-year respectively; the new car sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 36.4% of the total new car sales.
In July, the export of complete vehicles was 469,000, increasing by 19.6% year-on-year. The export of new energy vehicles was 103,000, increasing by 2.2% year-on-year.
From January to July, the export of complete vehicles was 3.262 million, increasing by 28.8% year-on-year. The export of new energy vehicles was 708,000, increasing by 11.4% year-on-year.
