According to the introduction, Taiko no Tatsujin is a music game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The Nintendo Switch version of Taiko no Tatsujin supports three control methods, namely button operation, touch operation, and 'swing performance' which can experience the realistic feeling of hitting a taiko.

On the Switch, players can swing the Joy-Con as drumsticks to play the game. Using the 'drumstick grip method' to distinguish the types of notes, swinging vertically down is 'don', which is equivalent to hitting on the drumhead of the taiko, and swinging down diagonally is 'ka', which is equivalent to hitting on the edge of the taiko. This game also supports high-precision vibration to simulate the feeling of hitting a real taiko.
