And according to the First Financial Report, the first domestic C919 passenger aircraft of Air China will be delivered on the same day as that of China Southern Airlines, and both airlines have ordered 100 C919 aircraft. According to TapTechNews' previous report, Air China signed an agreement with COMAC on April 26 this year to purchase 100 C919 aircraft from COMAC, and the 100 aircraft are planned to be delivered in batches from 2024 to 2031.

In addition, Jinyun Airlines under HNA Aviation will also receive the first C919 passenger aircraft in the fourth quarter. The first user, China Eastern Airlines, has already received 7 C919 passenger aircraft. China Eastern Airlines signed the C919 Aircraft Purchase and Sale Agreement with the commercial company on September 28, 2023, to purchase 100 C919 aircraft from COMAC, which are planned to be delivered to the company in batches from 2024 to 2031.

Not long ago in the middle of August, the location of the second final assembly plant of the C919 was settled in the Lingang area of Pudong, Shanghai, with a total construction area of about 330,000 square meters and a total investment of 11.95 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will meet the future batch production needs of the C919 large passenger aircraft, and it is expected to exceed the capacity target of 150 aircraft when the production line is fully operational in 2027.
