TapTechNews note: Due to the LLVM error in the previous version, AMD's new CPU was detected as a generic processor, resulting in low emulator performance and other issues. In the new version, a temporary workaround is deployed, treating the Zen5 processor as a Zen4 processor. The developers promised to correctly detect the Zen5 CPU in future version updates.

RPCS3 mainly relies on the AVX-512 instruction set, and one of the main improvements of the Zen5 processor is the improvement of AVX-512 performance. Therefore, when players simulate and run PlayStation 3 games on the Zen5 processor, it will be more smooth than on the Zen4.

RPCS3 emulator recently held its 13th anniversary celebration and announced that 70% of PlayStation 3 games are playable.
