This spacewalk was carried out by astronauts Jared Isaacman and Sarah Gillis of the Polaris Dawn mission, aiming to test SpaceX's new spacesuit.

TapTechNews noted that at 6:01 AM Eastern Time, Isaacman and Gillis began to prepare for the spacewalk. They checked all the equipment and put on SpaceX's extravehicular activity suit. Since extravehicular activities will expose them to the outer space environment, all four astronauts must wear this suit. Before opening the hatch, pure oxygen was filled in the cabin to check the tightness, and then the air in the spaceship was discharged, and Isaacman opened the hatch. The camera of the Dragon spaceship captured his figure against the background of the earth, and then he carried out a series of movement exercises as planned to test SpaceX's new extravehicular activity suit, and then returned to the Dragon spaceship. Back on earth, we still have a lot of work to do, he said, but from here, the world is so perfect.

Subsequently, SpaceX engineer Sarah Gillis also went out of the cabin to conduct movement exercises. After completing the task, the team closed the hatch and re-pressurized the Dragon spaceship. After inspection and confirmation of no leaks, this spacewalk mission officially ended.

This spacewalk is an important milestone in SpaceX's commercial space exploration, successfully verifying the performance of the new spacesuit and laying the foundation for more complex space missions in the future.
